Image to video
Attach a reference image to turn it into a moving video. Describe the motion you want in the prompt.
Image to video brings a single image to life as a moving scene. Have an image you love? Don't leave it still — give it motion.
Steps
- On the Video screen, attach the reference image to build from.
- Describe the motion or direction you want — e.g. "the person slowly turns their head," "the camera pulls back to reveal the foreground."
- Choose a model, aspect ratio, resolution, length, and other options.
- Press Generate to run.
Tips for a good result
- Rather than re-describing what's already in the image, focus on what moves and how.
- Small, natural motion usually comes out more reliably than a dramatic change.
Working with reference images
See the Attaching reference images guide for how to attach and mention them. The types and number you can attach depend on the selected model.
Good to know
- Video generation uses more credits than images.
- If a generation goes against the content policy, it's declined and the credits are refunded automatically.
